Elements and Performance Criteria

  18. Check dimensions and shape of accommodative orthoses against specifications
  19. Modify existing shoes for accommodative orthoses if necessary
  20. Finish off accommodative orthoses to established quality standards
  21. Deliver and fit accommodative orthoses
  22. Clarify function, management and maintenance procedures for accommodative orthoses with client
  23. Explain arrangements for follow-up to client
  24. Complete record keeping procedures and administrative tasks
  25. Assess client condition, adjust medical grade footwear treatment where required, and update client file
